The Education Sector consists of nearly 130,000 individual institutions in the U.S., including nearly 117,000 primary and secondary schools, nearly 6,000 postsecondary career and technical schools, and just under 4,000 degree-granting institutions of higher education. Safety in schools is necessary to support the academic success of each student. It provides them the opportunity to learn and achieve their dreams. School safety and security promotes learning and feeling of school unity. Safety at school allows children to look forward to being in an encouraging environment, promoting social and creative learning. Promoting school safety and security creates an open space for kids to learn and explore many new things. Students of all ages require a safe and secure learning environment for their better education and development.
